I've got one of these great low-cost wireless routers.  I love it.  There are a lot of "additional" features (such as full bandwidth management) you can unlock if you're brave enough.  i-hacked provides some good information and other sources to help.  There are a lot of sites that make this real easy for you.

If you don't have one, go get one...and hack it up.

This site demonstrates how to extend the range of your USB Linksys Bluetooth Adapter.  Basically you replace the provided antenna with one of your chosing.

Go get yourself a bluetooth adapter and tear it open.  :)
